HUNTINGTON BEACH — For the second straight year, Newport Harbor High product Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh walked away from the Assn. of Volleyball Professionals’ Cuervo Gold Crown series final empty-handed.

May-Treanor, Walsh to sit out
Assn. of Volleyball Professional Tour stars and Olympic gold medalists Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh announced Tuesday that they will miss the tournament taking place this weekend in Charleston, S.C., at the Family Circle Tennis Center.
